The traveller asks the farmer if he had any food but the farmer said no because he didn’t want to share his food 

The traveller went inside and said he can make stone soup for them but then he said it will be better with potatoes carrots and onions and meat 

They sat down and ate the soup with bread he tried and it was delicious 

The farmer did have food but he didn’t want to share and traveller tricked him to get his food for the soup
